Beyond the edge of reality lies a world of fantasy. If you are ready to cross into a world of imagination and adventure, continue on!
The personality of your character is up to your own imagination. Good or Evil, or somewhere in between, there are opportunities for players to slip into. But before you join play, you need a character. There are also a few simple rules regarding character creation and submission.

Please note that by submitting your character or continuing to play you are agreeing to our rules and standards. You are also stating that you are 16 or older.

Please read our Rules of Play including the Games FAQs before submitting a character if you have not already.

The game is currently run using the 3rd Edition D20 system D&D rules. Races, classes, skills, items, etc. must come from the books that we currently allow. The only book which is needed is the Player's Handbook, (though we do have an option for players with none of the books). If you wish to use
any information from the additional books, you must have access to it. There are no exceptions, so please do not ask.

The following list of books are the only ones currently allowed for use when designing your character. Occassionally the DM will alter or supplement the rules within the books. Please read these FAQs by clicking the link beside the book title, or visit the
Game FAQs page for updates.

We offer two options for players wishing to submit a character and join our game. It benefits you as a player to choose carefully.
Novice players are placed in our mentor program which offers them the help they need with character generation/creation, learning the rules, and assistance with getting involved in the action. Advanced players are expected to need little or no help with their character, the rules or involvement in the game so this player will be held to the staff contact rules.

Please choose the one that best suits you:

Advanced Player: While we all wish to be excellent role-players who know the rules well, the advanced player has experience in gaming with Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition rules system and has gamed online before. This player has experience with generating their own character sheet and with creating their own character background. The advanced player also has access to the Players Handbook and possibly to other allowed gaming manuals.

Novice Player:  The novice has recently become ready to join the fun of D&D 3rd edition online. The novice player has little or no experience with D&D 3rd edition rules and has little or no experience with gaming online. A player who has no constant access to the Player's Handbook is considered a novice. A novice is also a player who cannot create or generate a character without assistance.

Continue on, seeker of adventure!
