| 12 Stones FAQ 1. What are your religious beliefs? From Paul McCoy: "Each of us have a personal, spiritual relationship with God. Our music is positive and deals with surviving challenging experiences in life. From life itself, we found inspirtation and knowledge that offered the wisdom that no matter how bad it gets, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Instead of thriving on negative and the feeling that there is no way out, we aim to live life and express through our music, that one can stay strong and weather the onslaught of difficult times. We have all had moments where we have had to fight through the pain one may experience in life, and understand that things do get better." 2. What does the name 12 Stones mean? The name is a biblical reference. There were 12 Stones in the Hoshen, the breastplace that was first worn by the high priest Aaron. According to the book of Exodus, the stones were Ruby, Garnet, Citrine, Blue Topaz, Topaz, Sapphire, Peridot, Onyx, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst, and Aquamarine. The Stones represence each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The number 12 also has significance in the New Testament - Jesus has 12 apostles. 3. Who is the fifth member of the band out on the tour? He's not on the CD. For purposes of filling out the 12 Stones guitar sound while on the road, Louisiana native Greg Trammell was brought aboard by 12 Stones as their tour guitarist. Although Greg is not an official member of the band and not on the original 12 Stones CD, he does enjoy being part of the 12 Stones "brotherhood" while on the road. When the 12 Stones CD was recorded in the studio, both Eric and Paul contributed several guitar parts each. When the time came for the band to tour, Paul wanted to be able to move around while singing, and playing rhythm guitar would have restricted his movement. Greg, an old friend of the band's from back home, was called up to rhythm guitar duty for the 12 Stones live dates. 4. How old are the members of 12 Stones?
