He has a brother named Ian who was his drum tech on the tour with Creed Aaron likes ice hockey, reading, and is a huge Dream Theatre fan. He graduated from Pittsburgh International Culinary Academy as a sous chef. He worked on a dude ranch in Colorad. Aaron and his brother Ian worked a variety of jobs in Colorado, Mississippi, and West Virigina. He worked as a music director and DJ for The Rock Alternative 97.9 WCPR before joining 12 Stones.
He is a self taught drummer who has been playing for 11 years. He is endorsed by Tama drums.
