12 Kingdoms, originally titled Juuni Kokki, is a series about dealing with life. The world is a harsh place. Many things cannot be changed. The one thing you have control over is yourself!
An anime series was created based on the original manga by Fuyumi Ono. The original artist was thrilled to have her work adapted by studio Pierrot. (Yuyu Hakusho, Hikaru no Go, Fushigi Yuugi, Naruto, etc..)
There were a total of 45 eps, and I strongly recommend watching them in order! This story is VERY deep, and addictive.
