Marz is seen to some as the greatest TWF wrestler ever. He entered the TWF on the very first show as The Red Dragon. The style was the straight up, 70’s-style wrestling, that would be on World of Sport. But he soon changed to The Demon, a terrifying man from the dark side, with great submission moves. By now he was already a Light Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champion. He was involved in a feud with NJS, which is perhaps one of the best in TWF History. He disappeared for a short while after CeNsOrEd 2000.
When he returned as the Black Demon, using challenges to everyone, but The Dark Angel fled. The Black Demon has returned a few times since, but he is still a mystery to many. Even Marz's critics agree that The Black Demon is one of the best gimmicks in TWF history. He had a brief absence, before returning as Dead Cool. A hippy, groovy gimmick, which made the fans laugh. But times changed and he changed to Marz Holly, an all round tough guy. Holly was awarded Commissionership and won both European & Intercontinental Championships, and became The 1st Euro-Continental Champion.
But then a lapse on concentration, led to a loss of the Intercontinental Title. After dominating the lower divisions for ages, Marz stepped up to the big leagues in December 2001, defeating Owen Carl for, quite unbelieveably, his first TWF Championship. He vacated the title the night after due to other commitments, and re-began his chartered feud with The Shott and High Voltage. At Against All Odds 2002, Marz notched up his second TWF World Championship reign, defeating The Shott, and quite memorably, showed the world what The Shott and High Voltage did in bed...
During that period, whilst his friend Mr. BIG was touring the USA, as part of the XWF promotion, Marz assumed chairmanship of the TWF, and introduced his own group of superstars to the show. This proved unpopular with fans, so much so that Marz was being booed very viciously at every show. Eventually, Marz formed the KAWF, which would later form TECW. TECW would lead a famous war on the TWF, using every tactic possible to win the ratings war and ultimately kill the TWF. TECW's most infamous actions included deleting the TWF Forums and stealing almost 3/4 of the TWF roster. Of course, TECW held one major PPV before going under, but the TWF and it's fans still resent Marz for attempting to kill their beloved promotion.
Marz was released by the TWF via mutal conscent just after Summer Break 2002. But Marz returned to the TWF at Easter HeAT 2003 and said that he wanted to prove that he is the greatest by becoming TWF World Champion once again. His antics since his return have made his fans turn on him, and now when he stands in the middle of the stage, the fans will boo. He was later released from his contract after Total Chaos, where he was infurated at having to lose to The Bandit. Marz however, was signed up by Mr. Edwards in November 2003 and has one more TWF Championship against The Shott for the TWF World Championship at Dangerously Serious. He lost this match, but in April 2004, pulled off one of the biggest shocks in recent memory, when he and The Terminator defeated Big Sexy Badass and Silver to become xWa Tag-Team Champions. Marz finally entered XCW, but he was quickly embarressed by his old rival NJS and has not been seen in XCW since. Marz then sensationally defeated his old enemy Mr. BIG for the TWF World Championship prior to Summer Break V, during the process forming The Triad. Despite losing the Championship weeks after winning it, the Triad has continued and managed to be strong well into 2005.
