| This book was written by two people (my ex-boyfriend and I) at the same time; he didn't know it was going to be a story, and I didn't know I was going to illustrate it. It started when I IMed him with the simple phrase "There once was a little red duck..." I told him to continue the phrase/story, and he did. I would say a line, and then he would add a line, so on and so forth. The funny part is.... he never knew I was attempting to rhyme it until I said,"It's hard to find something that rhymes with corpses; did you have to use that word?" *smiles* Finally, I told him to write a sentence that would rhyme with "end," which is how we created the story of "The Red Duck." It wasn't until I re-read the story that I decided to illustrate it for fun. |
