Another Ere ... Another World

One day I met a stranger
Who was no stranger at all
Somewhere back in my memory
There was a tug-a click-a flash

And instantly I knew
I've seen this face before
I pick it out in any crowd
Mistake it for no other

The sad dark eyes clouded by pain
The tender smile I missed so much
The strong warm arms that felt the same
When holding me so close again

The gentle voice so full of laughter
Like long lost music I once knew
Again will set my heart vibrating
By words so old and yet so new

Time fell away and then stood still
another life another ere
Was it a dream or was it real
If I blinked my eyes-would he still be there?

Another world another time
Is where my only love has gone
Only our souls can cross the line
Forever keep our love alive

Another life another time
Is where I like to be
To walk again close by his side
And never say goodbye again

Some day-my love-I will be there
You'll never walk alone again
Till then-my love-do not despair
Some day-again-your world will be my ere.
