Like The Sailboat

Out there on a misty ocean
Like a tired lonely ghost
Faintly I can see a sailboat
When I put out to sea,
Who has lost her way-her goal
Her bright sails are hanging still
Without wind to give her life
Aimlessly around she drifts
And lost all of her directions
The gentle waves that kiss her bow
Do not want to cause her pain
The sun now tries to break the clouds
But without wind nature will fail
Because the sun is not enough
To put the life back in her sails
Just like life without your love
Is not worth another day
My own sea is full of turmoil
I can see the threatening clouds
And my soul just like that sailboat
Is aimlessly drifting about
You're my eyes-my ears-my reason
You're my days-my nights-my seasons
You're the hope that keeps me going
And thank the Lord for another morning
You're the wind that brings to life
All the sails that hang now quiet
You're the pen that writes these lines
All the thoughts that cross my mind
You're the words I need to rhyme

And you will be for all times.
