A Friend is someone special
Sharing moments that are precious
Always true, yet like a perfect diamond
Are rare and few

Unconditional times are spent
Through laughter and tears
These memories will last
Through out the years

When you are troubled
And your burden is heavy
A friend is there
To chase away your tears and worries

A friend is always concerned for your well being
Lending advice for you to learn when needed
Never demanding or judgmental
A friend is truly sentimental

So always remember at any given day
A true friend showers you with love and sincerity
And forever in your heart they remain
Thank you for being my friend

To Beth . . . with love

May the good Lord bless your house,
And give you joy on each new day.
While my best wishes follow you,
For all the future years to come.

While the palm trees overhead,
Gently wave in the warm breeze.
And the blue azure sea whispers,
It’s eternal song to the waves.
I’ll be thinking about you dear Beth,
Wishing I also was there to rest,
On the white, sandy, sunny beach,
Under the palms in the shade.

Bid the waves good morning for me,
Say hello to the surf and tide.
Tell the birds someday I’ll be there,
But today they should sing for you.
And at night when the moon is shining,
Greet her very gaily just for me,
Till someday ... maybe ... I get there.
