Categories The Aww *Tear* Category This category is for the saddest fics you have. Character death, break-ups, etc. We want to be able to sob when we read this! The Childhood Trauma Category This category is for those angsty, gut-wrenching fics. I will admit AU stories into this category. The Way Out Of Your League Category This is the major AU category. Any and all AU fics are more than likely to be submitted here. Can deal with the vampire/Slayer relationship or everyone can be just plain ol’ human. The Act A Fool Category This is your funny fic’s category. If someone did something utterly tactless or plain embarrassing, we wanna know about it. I will allow this category to include other Buffyverse categories, but the fic has to have a pro B/A theme, or can’t list Spuffy or C/A as a couple. The Listen To Your Heart Category This is the fluff (I’ll allow a wee bit of angst) category. The Another Tingle Moment Category This is the category for episode rewrites that Joss may have screwed up on. I will accept AU and canon stories for this. The Destiny Awaits Category This is the future fic category. Tell us what our beloved couple has to face in the future, whether it be happy or sad. The Along With A Vision Category This category is meant to be told from a character’s point of view (POV). The Ultimate Jinx Category This is the category strictly for all WIP’s. You may nominate WIP's in other categories, but this is the main WIP category. The Innate Darkness Category This is the category for all Buffy/Angelus fics. This category will NOT accept any Buffy/Angel, just Buffy/Angelus fics. The Surrender My Soul Category This is the NC-17 category. All NC-17 fics go here. You are allowed to nominate NC-17 in other categories, but no PWP or CWC are allowed in this category. The Strawberry Marigold Award This is for all fics that are part of a series. I classify a series as either having more than one fic in the actual series, or having ten or more chapters in the fic. If this doesn’t include you, don’t nominate for it! The Searing My Soul Category This is the category for songfics only! If you have a fic that does not have lyrics to the song in the actual fic, it is not classified as a songfic and you may not nominate it. The Crazy Fool Category This is the category for all non B/A pairings, whether it be Fresley, Willow/Oz, or even Faith/Gunn. I won’t admit slash, A/C or B/S into this category. The Accidentally In Love Category This is the category for all Sarah/David fics. Do not submit B/A fics for this unless the majority of the fic revolves around Sarah and David. The Spellbound Category This is the fic that I deem the best fic of all the fics nominated. You cannot apply for this award. The Sadly Beautiful Category This is the category for Best Author. You have to have a nominated, or be a nominated fic author to apply for this award. The Metamorphosis Category This is the judges choice award. The judges will email me their nominations for this category, from all other categories, and I will decide on the two fics that have shown the most potential and award them. You cannot apply for this award. The Here With Me Category This is the award that readers vote on for the two fics they feel are the best of the competition. The votes will be tallied at the end of the round, and the winner and runner up will be announced with the other awards. All fics nominated will be submitted into this category, so please do not nominate a fic for this. The Distorted Reality Category This is the category for all videos. I will allow all pairings in this category, including C/A and B/S, only because I believe all vidders should have the opportunity to display their vidding capabilities! The Tangled Web Category This is the award for the best B/A archive site. The only rule I have is that I consider 5 or more authors to be a archive site. If you have less than five authors on your site, you cannot apply for this award. The Graceful Temptress Category This is for the best Web Mistress or Webmaster. You have to have a site to apply. It does not matter whether it is an awards site, archive site, vid site, etc., I will accept all. The Slipped Away Category This is the award for the best fanart site. You have to have at least three pieces of fanart to apply. If you have fanart, but don’t have a site, I will temporarily archive it for you until the round is over. The Skin Deep Category This is for the best site nominated. I don’t care whether it is an awards site, vid site, fanart site, fic site, etc. This is given out to the two sites I find are well organized, and easy to navigate. Nice graphic design is also a plus but not required. |
