Chevrolet 267 Engine Block, Pistons, Rods, and Pan

This is a 1979 267 cubic inch V8 engine block with the pistons, rods, and oil pan.  I think these were used in Nova, Monza, Monte Carlo, and Impala in the late '70s as a "gas economy" engine. This is a V8 267 cubic inch or 4.3 liter eight cylinder block. It is NOT a V6. It is not a full engine.

The block is coated in grease.  I believe it is still standard bore.  There are only 7 pistons.  The oil pan is included and you know that these run $25 or more.  The rods are standard Chevy large journal rods, for a large journal crank, so you can use them in other engines if you want.

These use the same crankshaft as a 305 and a 350 so you can buy this for the parts or use 350 parts to finish it.

The following items are in this:

  • 267 cid V8 block
  • 7 pistons and rods
  • oil pan

I bought it to build a small displacement motor to race and then ended up not using it. It is just the way I bought it, and I don't know much about it at all. Be sure to check both pictures to see what is here.

Shipping

This is a large and heavy item.  It is better if you pick it up than ship.  Buyer will pay actual shipping charges.  Shipping outside the US will incur export / import duties and extra charges.  These are billed by the carrier to the buyer.  I do not know what these will be.

Yahoo-Geocities has apparently switched off outside access to pictures
on their site so I can't link to them here.  However, I can link you to the page that contains them.
