| Buckner Children's Home of Dallas (November 16, 2002) We will take a tour of the home and hear speakers explain the many services the home offers, as well as hear what a typical day at the home is like. This tour will be in conjunction w/the "Christmas-Decorating" party! Rockwall Helping Hands (November 22, 2002) We will take a short tour of the facility and learn the process taken from the facility receiving donations to the distribution of items to needy families. This tour will be in conjunction w/our visit to present the agency with the items we have collected for donation. Rowlett Health & Rehabilitation Center (March 14, 2003) We will tour the facility while being introduced to the many departments necessary to run such a home. We will also hear what a typical day for the residents is like. This tour will be in conjunction with the "Spring Social." Black Beauty Ranch (March 2003) We will tour the ranch of 1,500 rolling East Texas acres seeing some of the over 900 animals who call the ranch home! We will hear stories about how the many animals came to live at the ranch as well as some history on the founder of the Black Beauty Ranch, Cleveland Amory. The ranch has been in existence for over 20 years and provides a safe haven for many abused/neglected animals including an elephant, horse, chimpanzees. ostriches and hundreds of wild burros rescued from the Grand Canyon, just to name a few! This tour will be in conjunction w/our visit to present the ranch w/donation items from their wish list!
