| 8/21/02 - Completed the front mount for the horizontal stabilizer. I used 0.75 x .062 to provide a tight fit for the aluminum tubes. It is thicker, and weighs more than per the plans. :-( |

| 8/31/02 - Welded the "T" shaped rear mount for the horizontal stab. Then did a trial fit of the tail feathers. After this test, 1/2" was removed from each end of the front mount for the horiz. stab., reducing its length to 10". The aluminum parts slid together better that way. Now the aluminum parts need to be completed. |
