Romeo Must Die

One of the most recent videos I've seen is Romeo Must Die.  Staring Jet Li this movie promises lots of action, and it delivers.  The story starts out with the death of a Chinese man who was involved with the wrong people.  There is sort of a war between the Chinese and the Black kingpins for control of certian properties.  When the man's brother, Jet Li, finds out his brother has been killed he breaks out of prison and travels to America to find his brother's killers.  The action and the story thicken more and more after this point.  Many fight scenes with killer moves by the one and only Jet Li, as well as a greatly developed story make this movie a must see.  If you didn't see it at the theater than go out and rent it, you won't be sorry.  By the way, if you have seen it E-Mail me and tell me why you think it was given the title it was.  I know the answer I just want to get other people's thoughts.

This movie was awsome, it just lacked something that would have given it that extra point.

Mission To Mars

Haven't seen Mission to Mars yet?  Well, if not don't rush out to rent it.  I watched this movie the weekend before last and was shocked at what I saw.  Overall a good movie:  cool special affects, interesting theories, and neat simulations of space; but I was dissapointed with the ending.  As I'm sure you know some astronauts are going to go to Mars, their purpose is to test the possibility of colinization on Mars.  When the first team go to the planet there was a horrible accident, if you can call it that, and all but one of the crew members were killed.  When a rescue team finally got to the planet they made some startleing discoveries.  I won't say more about the movie because I don't want to give too much away, but I will say it was not as good as I thought it would be.

Rating:

It had some cool effects, interesting plot and all but it just wasn't what it was made out to be.  Most of all I was disapointed in the ending.
