| Saturday, August 2, 2003 Isn't this cute... I took a little survey and, the first time I took it, I turned out to be a Hello Kitty Water Fairy. It says that "average is a good thing! You like to sit back and let others deal with hassle of causing a riot!" hmm... that doesn't seem right. I think me choosing rainbow as my favorite color did me in. On my second try, I'm now a Hello Kitty Snow Fairy and apparently "needless to say you're a Diva! You've got expensive taste and KNOW what you want!" Funny, I thought I picked a pit bull as the pet of choice among a cute kitten, goldfish and no pets. If I could take the middle part of Water Fairy and the second half of Snow Fairy, that might come closer to describing me - I like to sit back, I have expensive tastes and I know what I want. Diva? I think of people who won't budge until they get every unreasonable thing they want. I don't think so. Average? I like to think of myself as unique... a love-me-or-leave-me type. Eh, I'm sure there are people out there who think I'm pretty average. And I know at least one person who thinks I'm selfish. He'll remain unnamed in this site. Work, family, personal life... it's insane how low lows can get. Of course, stress doesn't do much to make things better and I've never been able to handle stress. That's why I prefer to be in denial about being stressed and that's why I sound okay when I talk to people. Depending on when you catch me, everything is alright or I've got a potty mouth my post-college friends have never heard. I am working hard to have fun. I saw Cirque du Soleil's Varekai show on Sunday. I had lunch with Dave Choe yesterday. I had dinner with Danny yesterday and we checked out a couple of the "tall" ships that sailed into town during the week. I'm having lunch with Marisol this Friday and I've got a manicure & pedicure scheduled with Philbus the following Thursday. My brother's birthday is the 9th so we'll be getting together for ribs at Lem's sometime soon. You know you're an adult when you have to schedule fun into your life. I won't go into how drastically my idea of fun has changed... |
