BobbleHead Jesus The Popular!!
Another of little Jesus' friends is the Hindu God Ganesh.  Though we had to schedule, arrange, and shoot this shot very quickly, Ganesh is actually one of Bobblehead's best friends.  In Chennai, Bobblehead's hometown, Bobblehead often goes to temple, and participates in Poojas, weddings and other ceremonies with Ganesh.  BJ considers himself more Hindu than any other religion, and as you can see in this photograph, he is wearing a bindi.
Bobblehead Jesus's favourite fellow gods, deities, and pastors.
In Sri Lanka Bobblehead visited one of his largest friends, the Sitting Bhudda who overlooks Kandy.  Bobblehead had to employ help to attract the Bhudda's attention, but eventually it payed off.  Bobblehead spent a few days with this Bhudda in June 2003, and said "Even though he looks arrogant, he's really a nice guy. Besides I really like his outlook on Kandy."
Back to...
I asked Bobblehead to describe the significance of this elaborate position that Shiva took for this photograph, and his reply was:
"Well of course this is Nataraja, and he's dancing in the
prahabhamandala which signifies the chaos of the universe, and he's dancing on the dwarf demon Apasmara, who believed, before Shiva killed him, that there were no such things as true opposites.  Apasmara was a radical, but that's another story.  Anyway, Naat, (that's what I call him, it's short for Nataraja), Also got the snake for reincarnation, the drum by the beat of which he recreates the universe, and fire in his hands.  His arm that's straigh in front of him is in the gahahasta (elephants turnk pose).  We often hang with Ganesh, too.  Naat's a total hippie too.  His dreadlocks are nasty, even though they look nice in this picture."
Bobblehead rattled on and on about his friend Naat, but I had to stop him because unlike the micro-christ, I've got a limited lifespan.  Like I said, though, he's a big fan of Hinduism, probably mostly for the parties.

Again, note the bindi.
Although Bobblehead Jesus is technically a God, he doesn't mind hanging out with mortals every now and then.  When I asked him about his mission work in India he said that while it was true he does do some evangelism in India, that he limits it only to a small sub-secion of of the christian population who "actually understand what I'm saying."  Here he is seen inspiring a German pastor, Lars Dedekind.  He also confessed that he hates it when people confuse the christian message by allowing intolerance, "That's so pissing off!"
