Scorpius knew what he had to do. He was not much closer to solving the wormhole technology since invoking the neural John. He was stuck, and the neural homunculus either expired with the chip, or was successfully avoiding his summons. His course was clear. He must find John Crichton. He must go into his mind again.

*I shall never really find Zhaan on this planet of despair.* Stark wandered aimlessly on Valldon. He never heard or saw the Peacekeeper operative come up behind him.

“We have the Banik Slave, Lt. Braca.” The operative signaled.

“I will put in a good word to Scorpius. Bring him here.” Braca replied.

*Zhaan, beloved, I have found you.* Stark sat, immobile, a smile played on his lips.

“Sir, what use is he? He won’t yield to the chair.” Braca scowled, looking at Stark in his cell.

“Crichton will come.” Scorpius said.

Unbeknownst to Scorpius, our intrepid crew on Moya devised a punishment for him more hideous than the Aurora Chair, and move devastating than death. It would make him beg for death.

The crew was facing the grim task of not only finding Scorpius, but also stopping him in his tracks. At best, they all felt it would be a successful suicide mission. At worst, a failed one.

It was Chiana who gave them the idea. She asked a simple question, formed by curiosity, “Is that contraption in his skull, metallic?”

They had their answer, Jool would SCREAM!

                                                        +++++++++++++++

I loved Periapt's reply to the original post on the Farscape bboard , so here is his Haiku version with his permission.

The shrill scream of Jool
(Wow!  How wonderfully crool!)
Makes Scorpy un-cool.

Underground Musings - Scorpius
(The scene we didn’t see.)

Thank you CyriusJuJU for reminding me of that wonderful movie, Cool Hand Luke.

The one quoted phrase is from “What was Lost, Part 2 – Resurrection”
Word count: 71

"Is that enough dirt out of your hole, Boss?"

Why that phrase?

No matter.

Couldn’t have planned it better.

Sikozu was fortuitous. Surely she will let them know? She owes me her life!

No matter.

The earth will protect me. Earth? How quaint.

Something is changing!

Water! How?

They left! Not a word?

Grayza? Idiot!

Too much water. I’ll suffocate!

What? Digging?

Scorpius hung back in the shadows of the Officer’s lounge. He did not want to talk to anyone, did not want anyone to notice him. “But I am always noticed, always shunned. So be it!”

He continued to observe the easy camaraderie, the officers joking with
one another, the familiar signs of friendship and felt… something? “Interesting, I believe they do not know I am here.”

Scorpius left. His coolant was near exhaustion and he decided to leave before they could notice him, before they had the opportunity to shun him. “The heat is making me soft.”
