| This document shows the history of the Harponian people. This document expresses their trials and their achievements. This is an overview of the Harponian people and not a detailed document. |
| -1400 BW- On the planet referred to then as Othampa, early Othampan Nomads are found on the west continent. An early and primitive civilization is formed. -1200 BW- Fire is made -1000 BW- The wheel and iron are first invented. First alphabet established. Early pre-government formed. -400 BW- Three fourths of the Othampans migrated to the south continent of Othampa. This started a flourishing new agriculture for South Othampans. -100 BW- Da’as Slovak forms a dictatorship. This stretched all across the western continent. The Da’as dynasty is formed. -0- As the Da’as Empire is at the height of it rule- an anomaly occurs midday aft of the planet of Othampa in relation to the suns. A wormhole opens and remains open for six minutes. This opening causes mass hysteria and panic. A religion is formed around this new and unknown phenomenon. A modern day renaissance occurs. A name for the phenomenon was a ‘wormhole.’ All days are issued as “AW” in reference meaning “after wormhole.” All days before the wormhole phenomenon were to be referred to as BW= Before Wormhole. |

| -12 AW- With the new renaissance in full effect- some of the Othampans (or as they had coined themselves as Harponians meaning: New Age) wanted a new kind of society. One where the people of Othampa had say in the government. This started the first civil war on that planet. The Harponians achieved their goal. A new world was established. Othampa renamed to Harponia. -100 AW- A new fascist group called the “Vella” took over the central government and plunged Harponia into the Dark Ages for 1000 years. -700 AW- On the north continent, the remnants of the original Othampans built the first modern pulley system. This new system made production in construction more efficient. -1000 AW- The Harponians emerge from the Dark Ages and venture out to the sea. Harponians have established that their planet was round, but that people from the North continent were of lower species and should not inhabit Harponia. -1140 AW- Harponians take to the sea. They explore the Eastern continent. There they found a very lustrous and malleable element called Tritanium. This is their chief trading material. |

-1250 AW- The South and West Harponians invade and attack the North Harponians. They believe that they were inferior people. This war was the second Civil War. It lasted 14 years. -1300 AW- Harponians have made a resolved peace. The entire world has been explored. Cities were being made and provinces were sprouting up for the first time. The North Continent was becoming a primitive world power. -1401 AW- Ja’Joq is the first man to establish a hierarchy since the days of Da’as. This establishment of rule would continue for centuries. The Harponian people were finally instituting a better life for themselves. -1499 AW- Vezerif Berthu, a Harponian priest, invented electricity. This new and revolutionary new form of energy shunted the Harponian people into a new age of technology. This was referred to as the “Age of Discovery.” The modern day television was invented. Three years later- the electro-mobile. -1532 AW- With a full technological age, and the citing of the wormhole, the Harponian people attempt to embark on another mission- one of space. -1574 AW- The Harponian people experiment with different forms of propulsion and space satellites. The first Harponian satellite- The Vladimir- was a success and gave the Harponians a new hope. -1590 AW- The first space capsule- The HIQID was launched with three people to the nearest moon of Harponia (Qu’inyne). The second mission to Qu’inyne was a disaster. The space capsule HIQID II exploded 7.45 minutes after lift-off. This was a disappointment to all the Harponian people and to the families whose relatives had died. -1634- Ariana Jensen proposed the Theory of Cancellation which stressed that if matter and antimatter in equal volume, mass, and weight were put together, they would cancel each other out creating a high energy field capable of generating a high energy pulse capable of moving object at enormous speeds. This idea was applied to modern space vessels. Testing commenced on ships. The Harponian High Ministry was established. |
