| Stipends may be provided for all participants who participate on a full time basis. A stipend of not more than $40.00 per month may be issued to each participant during the academic component and $60.00 per month for the summer component. To receive the stipend, the participant must show evidence of satisfactory participation in activities of the project including regular attendance and performance in accordance to Upward Bound's established standards. And as an added incentive for regular attendance, stipend will be awarded at the end of each month of activities, and will be prorated for each participant on the basis of actual full-time attendance at the scheduled classes and tutorials. |
