Full description of the main hall of Lara:

The 5 hearths: The large main hearth is the center of the gigantic hall. It is about 10 feet in diameter with the walls 3 feet tall. The shield over the top of the hearth is shaped so the rising heat is distributed evenly all about the hall. The 4 smaller hearths are set evenly spaces away form the central hearth. These are designed to light and heat the areas that the main hearth does not reach. The smaller hearths are 4 feet in diameter with walls 2 feet high. The wood that feeds the hearths are separated into several piles. There is one pile set beside, but safely away from, each hearth. There is a main pile outside the main hall where the rest of the wood is kept. The main central hearth has a large red dragon, the beast of Lara, painted around the base of it. Each smaller hearth has the standard of each full ally of Lara, currently there are 2 {Kasra and Tyros}.

The main hall: Inside the main hall are 5 sets of doors, 2 large archways, and 2 beaded curtains.

Door 1: The 2 huge metal and wood doors are the entryway to the great hall. These doors are on the east side of the chamber. On the doors in relief is the Beast of Lara.

Door 2: This single door leads to the main study of Lara.

Door 3: This single door leads to a large hallway. At the end of this hall is one of several weapon stores of Lara. The weapons here are set in display style. They reflect all of the known weapons found on Gor.

Door 4: This double door leads to the map room. Here mounted on the walls is the entire known world of Gor. The maps are made of the finest silks and only the best inks and dyes.

Door 5: This solid metal door leads to the Ubars meeting chamber and council hall. This door is locked at all times and only the council members hold the keys.

Arch 1: This huge, 15 foot, archway leads to the kitchen and servery of the main hall. If one is sitting in the right place, He or She can get a view of the entire servery and kitchen.

Arch 2: This smaller archway, 12 foot, leads to the library. This chamber is for public use and is open to all.

Curtain 1: Behind these black red and gold beads lays a guest chamber for those that when the party is done can’t make it any farther. There is no door here so none feels as if they would be locked in.

Curtain 2: This white, yellow, and red beaded curtain is the entry way to the bath hall of the main chamber. This hall is NOT for the squeamish.

Here in the main hall, set every 10 feet around the walls, are set various family crests of those who have fallen in Laras name. Set between the family crests are various animal pelts and heads. In the ceiling of the main hall are set 3 different sized silver disks. They are inlayed here so the 3 moons of Gor will always shine in the hearth light.

- The throne of Argus sits along the north wall of the hall.

- The dance pit sits 15 feet in front of the throne.

- There are 4 whipping posts in the nw ne sw and se corners around the main hearth.

- There are also 8 sets of heavy manacles. 2 sets of each in each of the 4 corners of the hall.

- There are 4 large rings bolted to the hearth stones.
