November 8, 1988    On this day in history...ok, maybe a little dramatic-my little cousin Chase was born.

Robert Duncan
Robert Duncan made his first Star Trek apperance on TNG in a very emotional episode. He was Wesley Crusher's peer/leader guy. But he is most famous as Tom Paris on Star Trek: Voyager. His witty charm and wild-man philosophy are the only ways to describe his personality on the show. Paris is also known for his love for the Klingon Torres.

Today is the birthday of someone very special. No, I don't mean he rides the little bus. Isaac Hanson is a superb singer and song writer. I love his voice, especially when he sings "A Minute Without You" or "More Than Anything" or "As Surely as the Sun" or...just about anything. Today he turns 22. That means he has been able to drink alcohol for a year now. I wonder how many hangovers he's had. ;-) Oh, well. I just hope I get to meet him before he gets married. Who knows? Maybe I will be that special someone he sings about. ;-D

Robert Beltran
Hey! This guy played Chakotay in Star Trek: Voyager. I believe he's Native American or at least he played one. His character was part of a rebelious group called the Makee (may be spelled incorrectly) but then came to become part of the crew of the Voyager. Chakotay was the first officer, and he never brought shame to the title commander.

Alexander Siddig
He played Julian Bashir, doctor of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I believe his British.

On this day--I'm not certain which year--Harpo Marx was born.  He was a pantomime in a comedy routine with his brothers (Chico, Gummo, Groucho, Zeppo).  He got his name because he likes to play the harp.  In most of the Marx Brothers movies, he is featured playing the harp.  It was said that Harpo had a mysterious charm about him.  He would just attract people.
November 30, 1979
On this day, Herbert Marx aka Zeppo died. He replaced his brother Gummo when the Marx brothers went to the movies. He didn't really get any big parts, but he is still great. I think he is kind of handsome, too.
Thanksgiving Day is a day with historical and emotional value. Remember to be grateful for what you have, and don't forget those who have nothing. Pray for everyone, and settle all grudes you have with people--remember Sept. 11th, you never know when they will be gone. Eat a lot but not too much.  May God bless you.
