| Marvel Comics (and whoever owns them currently) would like you to know that although they haven't been used for years, some characters and names on this site are copyrighted and trademarked and Marvel is only allowing us to use them because they are so friendly and neighborly and like to encourage budding young comic book writers (and what better way to do that than in the Marvel way?). And also because in all likelihood they don't know/don't care about this site. But still: Doom 2099, X-Men 2099, Punisher 2099, Spider-Man 2099, Hulk 2099, Ghost Rider 2099, Ravage 2099, 2099 Unlimited, X-Nation 2099, Fantastic Four 2099, and all the characters within the physical copies of those titles are property of Marvel Comics. | An Era Comes To An End... I'm sad to report, amigos, that this version of the 2099 Underground is no more. I am as sad as you, seeing as I've been with the group since it's beginning year. This page will serve as an archive for the time being for the old 2099UG. But having said that, it excites me to no end to inform you, dear reader, that the UG is not dead. No, not dead at all, it's just been REVISED. That's right, the group is being relaunched from the old continuity cut-off point with some new faces and a splash of the old.
