10.31.05 (cont.) //:halloween hijinks:// deadline nearly passed for our GMAC warehouse line app & had to start IR w/ Credit Suisse First Boston, so was coming off a pretty hectic week at work... but had a really good time this past weekend so can't really complain. =)
friday night after work met up with leeme to go to the rotten tomatoes party which was held at studio z on 11th and franklin... and where various portions of my costume probably still remain, lying somewhere amongst what i'm sure are 100's of other random costume parts hehe... on saturday, we headed over to the eastboy to catch a show & some drinks with some of her friends at the acclaimed yoshi's jazz house & restaurant, (show featured what i assumed to be house regulars, but was dedicated to the late trumpeter clifford brown - most famous for his time spent playing with the max roach quintet & later with sonny rollins), then hit up another party held in some office building in downtown oakland which mostly amounted to a CAL reunion from what i saw. good times all around. thank god for weekends.
