I've been living and travelling away from my native England since 1985. During that time, I have visited over thirty different countries. The last five years have been spent in Japan.

There is a wealth of material available for anyone with an interest in Japan. I have tried to provide some basic information for newcomers on the mechanics of coming to Japan for work, and what they can expect once they arrive.

This is basically a thumbnailed selection of snapshots taken from my previous travels. It is intended for my family and friends, but don't let that stop you from taking a look.

A series of select destinations seen from a personal perspective. Hopefully there will be something for everybody.

Together with my wife, I am leaving Japan after five years. I'm not sure yet what the future holds, but this is the place to find out.
