TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Excerpts from UN's web documents:
"The Weapons of Mass Destruction(WMD) Branch provides substantive support for the activities of the United Nations in the area of weapons of mass destruction(nuclear, chemical and biological weapons) ...."

"The NPT is a landmark international treaty whose objective is to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and weapons technology ... and to further the goal of achieving nuclear disarmament and general and complete disarmament. ... the Treaty was extended indefinitely. ..."

"... The CWC ... provides for the elimination of an entire category of WMD under universally applied international control."

Double-standard.
Do the "all" and "everyone" in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights refer to all human beings as one assumes when reading the articles, or just some specific group of people? How then do the Security Council, OLA, ILC and the various arms of the UN justify the repeated singling-out of one nation and the harassing, humiliating and subjecting to extreme mental anguish an entire nation for its government alleged non-compliance with the International community's disarmament resolution, while other nations with similar or worse weapons that were long ago advised to reduce and/or destroy their weapons did not comply, and faced no consequences?

Please see:

1). The Missiliers

2). Hiroshima Remembered

3). Democracy in America

4). Saddam Hussein, Donald Rumsfeld, and the Golden Spurs

5). A Nuclear Crisis by realistic US president

Is the United Nations aware that it is about to make as law that, nations with means can undermine the UN without consequences, retain whatever weapons they please; which they may eventually use to threaten, intimidate or coerce other nations that may not agree with them? If the UN will be basing its decisions on the theory that "once a thief, always a thief", then ought not the same be applied to all? Who's to say that Hiroshima may not be repeated? Do we or do we not see the similarities in Grenada, Libya, Panama, Kuwait, Israeli occupation (maybe), and the copycat 911, 2001, tragedies? Are we to ignore the fact that these "developing nations" with axes to grind, just, just may have been following in the footprints of the USA, our self-declared-world police?

Haunted people
Please, always remember that you have to know and understand the people of the United States of America (God loves us all) in order to reasonably deal with them not only for your benefit but theirs as well. Sometimes I compare my USA people to a child abandoned at birth, but blessed with parents that gave the child the finest things in life, only to later see this child go on a quest to seek out the biological parents and finding the biological mother was a prostitute who is not even sure who the child's father is, and the likely suspect for a biological father was some bandit and violent criminal that received the maximum penalty for his crimes. The majority of my USA people are people who unfortunately have come to strongly believe that everything in life is a win-lose situation, and the USA has to win, regardless of the consequences. Although flippantly spoken, you will find that the majority of even the government officials of the USA have almost no understanding of the word "DEMOCRACY" when it comes to dealing with others, else, the incidents of Grenada, Panama, Libya, etc. would never have occurred, and the pitiful, shameless and extremely aggressive quests and declarations of strategies for Iraq's "democratic regime" would not be occurring. The UN surely must know by now that this madness by the USA and Great Britain has nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism and/or disarmament. This illogic behaviour is not democratic, not even human and violates the entire Universal Declaration of Human Rights! To see the president, secretary of defense and secretary of state of a "model democracy" all shamelessly boast of overtaking another nation, just
(1). makes one question the sanity of these people and (2). leads one to almost conclude these representatives may be human robots literally and electronically controlled by some group of sadists. It is also sad to know the UN may have encouraged these barbaric acts by not stopping or properly addressing the tragedies of Grenada, Panama, Libya and etc.

While compassionate and zealous, the overwhelming majority of my USA people are void of basic commonsense; example: in 1998, the nation wasted millions to try the sensual life of its president, meanwhile you cannot count on your fingers that many USA presidents who were moral models (though I do not advocate disrespect of and abuse of power). We currently have a president (God loves him) who too often causes one to marvel. A question worth noting is, how can a president who could not even protect his home State from being reclaimed, and may probably not be aware of the loss, be capable of positively contributing to the well-being of an International Community? While we must treat all people with respect even as provided in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we must also bear in mind that the people of the United States of America are a haunted people, who too often are very short-sighted and understand not the magnitude of affairs they usually get themselves into. Who then is the bigger fool? The zealous child still in search of an identity or the elders who permitted the childish follies?

President Hussein is nonetheless a very clever man. I'm sure he re-reads the entire UN's Peace and Security through Disarmament documents and the duties of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Branch each time he's confronted with the disarmament issues. I'm sure president Hussein awaits answers as to why his nation has been the only target for the past several years regarding the disarmament issues. And I guarantee president Hussein would not have hesitated to destroy any above limits weapons, had the other nations with similar or worse weapons destroyed theirs. Aware that other nations with similar or worse weapons that were advised years ago, and some some thirty(30)+ years ago, to reduce and/or destroy their weapons of mass destruction did not, and have faced no consequences, I too would respond in like manner as president Hussein. And I would not be surprised if president Hussein takes the world with him rather than comply with such hypocritical demands. Hypocrisy/a double-standard will render almost anything distasteful.

NOTE!!! Some dictionaries define "TERRORISM" as the "unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intent of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons".

Excerpts from the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS:

Article 1  -  All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. ...

Article 2  -  Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedom set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. ...

Article 7  -  All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. ...

What does Iraq’s pres. Hussein know or has threatened?
Until few days ago, I, too, thought this excitement about president Hussein was mainly a quest for oil. But it is becoming obvious that this hyper-excitement, induced readiness for war with Iraq(?) has nothing to do with disarmament or terrorism as we presume. This frenzy is all about some other issue that president Hussein is probably an expert on and probably holds the aces. To anyone with commonsense, the so far reason pieces for the "Saddam showdown" do not fit. ??? Of course, the USA, or Great Britain, has the right to protect itself just as Iraq and others have the right to protect themselves. And, a nation protects its people and land by being! in! its! own! territory! How can I say I was protecting my people and my property by gunning down perhaps, perhaps a noted thief ten(10) miles away from my property simply because I thought he/she might steal from me? Have we all gone mad?

Guaranteed Solution
Here is the magic solution for the international weapons of mass destruction disarmament: Let's get the USA, Russia and Israel that were advised 12+ years ago to disarm disarm, and I guarantee the Security Council and the UN that Iraq, India, Pakistan and etc. will disarm. May all hypocrites seeking to be god(s) and subjecting an entire nation and group of people to extreme mental anguish, receive a double dosage of their very own medicine.

Respectfully submitted, L'Afrique
