Recently 3 Kerry Blues have been rehomed.
I would like to thank those people who took these dogs on.
Unfortunately there remains 2 Kerries that require new homes.

The New Green Star system will take effect from our Club Show and will be reviewed in 2009. Seven Green Stars will now be required to bring a dog to its Irish title, one of which must be gained after the age of 15 months. Reciprocal agreements will be in place with countries who allow Champions to earn just one CC in their country. We will now also adopt the 10 Group Eurpoean System and a Champions Class will also exist.
The IKC and the KC, London have agreed to CC's being awarded in Ireland to our Nine Native Breeds to celebrate the  World Winners Show in 2009. This show will be held in the RDS the same weekend as the WW Show. Further Information available.
Your membership subscriptions are now due for the 2007 year.
Joint membership is £5, Single is £3.50.
  Niall Kavanagh
17/08/1981 - 12/08/2006

It was with great sadness we learnt of the untimely and tragic death of Niall Kavanagh following a car crash.

Although Niall was new to the Show Scene  he had already made an impact due to his warm, friendly personality. His enthusiam for the breed, his hunger to learn and his enjoyment of his dog and the show scene was evident.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Kavangh family and relatives and his many friends. Niall will be missed!

Niall was laid to rest on Thursday 17/08/2006,
his 25th birthday.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Ánam dilís.
Congratulations to the IKC on their successful bid for the
European Winners show in 2009.
I am sure most of you know Pat O'Regan (Brykar).

You may not be aware, tragedy struck his family on June 4th 2006.

A fire broke out in his son's family home and his son Brian, daughter-in-law Johanna and his youngest grand daughter, Niamh did not survive. Thankfully their three other children escaped unhurt and a Fund has now been set up in their names.

Donations can be sent to Bank Of Ireland, Lisduggan, Waterford
or indeed any Bank of Ireland branch.
