Hai nodded, absorbing Orron's words as if they were life giving sustenance. "I understand that of course, but I don't know of any other way you guys could test me to determine my abilities."
"Well it never hurt anyone to relearn the basics, so we'll just put you into the classes we think are appropriate and will move you when the need arises," Orron said as she sat down at her computer. It beeped a few times at her as she began to type things in. She smacked it hard and it beeped at her but began to print out the requested information. Turning, she handed it to Hai. "Here is you room number and the password to get into it. I would suggest using the rest of the day to get your affairs in order, should Mr. Kouki and I decide to let you stay here as a student."
Hai stood up, relieved that at last he had a place to stay. His brow furrowed as something suddenly occurred to him. "Did you guys have a student here before by the name of Damien?"
Orron nodded, "He was expelled."
Hai nodded absently to himself and thought, "That must be why he was so bitter." He stood up to go and shook Orron's hand. "Thank you for allowing me to stay. I promise you won't regret this." As he turned to go towards the door, Hai pulled up his cloak again, concealing his face. He muttered a few choice words and gradually the mist disappeared. Walking towards the door, Hai paused as he opened it. He looked back at the woman. "Miss Lunetta?" he began. "Is there, by any chance, a pool of water nearby? Or somewhere isolated and quiet with a body of water?"
Orron blinked at the strange request. "There is the school pool that is in the gym."
Hai grinned underneath his pool, suddenly realizing how confusing his question was. "Of course!" He thought to himself. "They don't see any use for a pool of water except for exercising." He spoke again, "I'm sorry, but maybe this would be better. Do you think you would mind if I made a part of my room a pool of water? As in I dug a hole in the room and filled it with water? Or do you have a garden in the school?"
"Yes we do have a garden. Perhaps you would rather stay there???"
Hai nodded. "Yes, I would. You don't mind showing it to me do you? And perhaps showing me around the school? That is, if you're not busy." His voice trailed off as Hai realized he probably was intruding on Orron's busy schedule.
Orron checked her watch. "I have to get back to my class but I can give you directions. After classes are over, I can give you a formal tour."
Hai nodded. "No, it's quite alright. You're busy, and I have time to wait. I'll just wait for you in the garden."
Hai ducked out of the room, his face low as he studied the map. As always, the cowl was over his head in case someone was walking down the hallway. He didn't have classes until tomorrow and until class ended for the other students, he had all the time in the world. Walking swiftly down a corridor, he turned right and down another corridor, his face full of thoughts every time. Who was that girl who waved at him from the window? Why did she look so young? Hai's mind was full of these questions as he quickly found his way to the garden. Peeking inside, Hai saw no one and stepped in. That garden was beautiful, plants and trees everywhere, just as if the school was just some classrooms with a forest around it. Walking towards the center of the garden, Hai noticed that there was no pool of water, just a large clearing of grass, probably for the students to sit and watch the beautiful sky through the glass roof which was so well polished it was almost impossible to tell that there was even a roof at all. Knowing full well that no one would be walking around the corridors and yet not wanting to risk anything, Hai waved his hand again and filled the garden with a mist, not to thick since he didn't want to chill the plants, but thick enough so that no one could see him. Not sure what the people of the school would say, Hai unsheathed his sword from underneath his cloak. He was taking a risk and he knew it, but Hai didn't care. Right now, adding beauty to the garden was important as well as essential. The plants couldn't depend on artificial watering if they were to really flourish. Holding his sword out in front of him, Hai closed his eyes and concentrated. The sword pulsed blew with power as light winds began to gather around it, powerful enough to disturb the mist, but not powerful enough to create a racket. As Hai gathered power within the sword, he began to call to the groundwater beneath the school. He felt the groundwater, tested the depth, and smiled. Suddenly stabbing his sword into the grass beneath him, Hai felt the ground tremble just a bit, but not enough to arouse any suspicion. However, he thickened the mist around the garden just for good measure. Finally, when the trembling ceased, Hai opened his eyes. He wasn't kneeling on the ground anymore. It was...water and he was actually in the pool! Hai grinned. His magic had caused a pool of water about four feet in radius to form. The earth that had collapsed into the ground water was now being washed towards the sea. Noting that the pool itself was lacking in water, Hai called forth his crystal which he kept around his neck. The crystal was blue and tear-shaped and was about the size of two of his thumbs. The crystal glowed as Hai slowly filled the pool up with his magic. Finally, he finished, exhausted, but satisfied. The making of the pool had used up his strength, but the beauty it added to the garden was more than worth it. Using the last bit of his strength, Hai allowed himself to drift to the bottom of the pool, knowing that his magic would keep him dry. As his eyes closed of to sleep, Hai reminded himself that Orron would be looking for him soon. His last thought was, "Who was that girl...?"

Damien thought hard on the strangers last few words, but he didn't want to believe that the boy had been right. "Who does he think he is? Of all the nerve, he believes that I only care about fighting. I only wish to protect and to fight for fun on occasion. Why can't anyone understand that?!" He began to ask himself questions that he could not answer. Eventually he decided to search out the stranger and try to figure out exactly what he wanted.

Orron walked back into her room and sat down at her desk, returning to working on her papers as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. When the chime told the class was over, she stood and reminded the students of their paper due in a week and let them out.
"Fiona," Orron beckoned the student over to her desk as the rest of the children filed out.

Medea took the route to her next class instead of going to the office. She still was tired but had to deal with even though she hated it. She was headed to her math class and was in no mood to deal with the teacher, so she decide to listen to him.

Hai woke up with a start. He looked around his surroundings as the day's events slowly came back to him. Of course! He was in the school, and he had been sleeping at the bottom of the pool he had made. As Hai slowly remembered all this, a nagging feeling began to gnaw at him. He had dreamt about that teenager, the one that was so full of anger. Why was he expelled from school? Sighing, Hai swam out of the pool and into the garden. He was going to go look for him and find out just what was going through his mind. Hai got out of the pool, his clothes dry. As he looked around again to make sure no one was around, he scribbled a note to Orron on a piece of paper. He left the note near the pool, hoping that someone would see it and give it to her for him. That being done, Hai waved his hand, muttered a few words, and felt the mist respond to his call. He was surrounded by a thickening mist and when the mist finally disappeared, Hai's search for the teenager began.

"Yes Ms. Lunetta..?" asked Fiona walking slowly up to the teacher's desk. The young girl sounded rather afraid... She was clinging to her books didn't seem really want to walk to Orron's desk. Fiona thought she was going to get into trouble.

Damien walked the school grounds, not caring that he was forbidden to do so. “I must find that boy," he said as he brushed his hair out of his eyes.
Hai walked around the school grounds, eyes scanning for Damien, though he knew not his name. Seeing Damien, Hai quickly walked over to him. He said, “You’ll get in trouble if someone sees you, come with me and we’ll talk. Do you accept?”
