Biology ---------------- |
There are two types of cells, prokaryotes (prokaryotic cells), and eukaryotes (eukaryotic cells). Eukaryotics cells are much more complicated than prokaryotic cells. Animals and plant cells are eukaryotic cells while bacteria and cyanobacteria (formerly called blue-green algae) cells are prokaryotic cells. Both prokaryoties and eukaryotes have a cytoplasm, but prokaryotes lack a nucleus. Cells form tissues. Tissues form organs. |
