| We are nothing without trails |
This site achieves the description of the trails. We do not describe how to get to the trail because we encourage group riding. So, make sure you ride in a group where at least one of the members is familiar with the trail.
We decided to divide the trails based on IMBA trail ratings. The ratings are as follow:
> White Circle : Easy
> Green Circle : Moderate
> Blue Square : Difficult
> Black Diamond : More Difficult
> Double Black Diamond :Extremely Difficult
SPEAK :: BUILD :: RESPECT :: RIDE
Another
standard for trail is being dictated by Whistler Park, Canada. It
mimic the IMBA trail rating, but it has their own
trail types.
The trail type is divided into 5 types (I, II, III, IV and V).
Whistler combine IMBA trail ratings and trail types to produce an excellent matrix of trail for trail-builders.
To rate the trail, we need qualified IMBA rater. The rating in this website is based on the IMBA rating table, but are not certified by IMBA. So, ride at your own risk. Read on, and it might improve the level of your riding satisfaction.
If you think the trails are getting easier, hence the rating could be wrong, then we think that you have improve your mountain bike riding skills... BRAVO!

Bukit Kiara |
Twin Peaks |
Start with very technical climbs over rubber tree roots with at least 3 switchbacks. Then a short flat area before starting to climb up again. The next climb is less technical than before with at least 3 breather areas until you reach the temple. After the temple, it is an easy climb to Janie' Addiction trail or to the peak. Uphill rating: Difficult
If you're going down from the peak, it's a nice 2 to 3 minutes of pure downhill. Downhill rating: Moderate

Bukit Kiara |
Janie's Addiction |
Very steep descent in the beginning, black diamond rating. Then, comes the nice singletrack with a lot of roots and twists. There are also at least 3 log obstacles, which are ride-able if you can master the "bunny hop". Then, comes the black diamond descent... let your bike flow through the singletrack and only brake at the end of the descent on the flat surface area leading to a short climb.
After the short climb, a nice singletrack for less than 1 km. Then you reach the first "pondok". Go straight the singletrack until you reach another descent with several switchbacks. There's also a boulder which you can jump if you have the proper rig, otherwise take the switchback. After that, there a fast and wavy singletrack leading to the Kg. Segambut Dalam and then to Hartamas. Rating: Extremely Difficult
