Ariel, a 16 year old mermaid, is obsessed with anything human. She collects things from sunken ships and takes them to Scuttle, the crazy seagull, who tells her what they are. Against her father's wishes (her father just happens to be King Triton, ruler of the sea), Ariel goes to the surface where she falls in love with Prince Eric, a human. She makes a deal with the sea witch, Ursula, to trade her beautiful voice for a pair of legs. In three days, Ariel must win the Prince's love or she belongs to the sea witch FoReVeR. There is one problem-Ursula will do anything to make sure she DoEsN'T win.

Morgana, Ursula's sister, will stop at nothing to lure Melody in and get revenger on Ariel and Triton.
