Directions to Union Temple at 17 Eastern Parkway:

Union Temple is at the heart of Brooklyn at the Eastern Parkway entrance to Grand Army Plaza. Grand Army Plaza is the junction of Eastern Parkway, Prospect Park West, Vanderbilt Avenue and Flatbush Avenue. It is across Eastern Parkway from the enormous Brooklyn Library

The closest subways are the 2/3 lines. Exiting the subway, proceed around the traffic circle along Plaza Street East. If you cross Vanderbilt, you are going the shortest route. If you cross Lincoln, you are going the long way round. Both ways will get you to the Temple.

If you take the 4/5 you can get off at the Brooklyn Museum and walk downhill, down Eastern Parkway to number Seventeen.

Union Temple is a tall, stone edifice, on the corner of Eastern Parkway and Plaza Street East. There is parking available during services. The Eastern Parkway entrance has royal blue awnings over the doors.
