BEAT 1724 March MINUTES

Date: 4/21/09
Location: Horner Park Field House
Police: 7
Public: 14

Previous issue were reviewed, including people hanging around 4034-38 N. Sacramento and gang presence at 3021 W. Cullom.

New Issues:

A citizen reported around the clock drug deals going on at 4015 N. Kimball and 3352 Irving Park.  The runner seems to be a thin female caucasian in her late 20's or 30's possibly living at 3352 Irving Park.  Police are working with the citizen on an ongoing basis.

A citizen reported that dog walkers are frequently not picking up after dogs in Horner Park, especially at dawn.  It was asked that an eye be kept out by the police for it, and if spotted, please enforce.  The citizen was also encourage to call 911 if he saw it in process.

It was also discussed that the Familia Stones gang is coming back to Beat 1724 and their presence is up, including Black and Orange clothing and "F/S" tagging on fences and garages.  Police are aware of it and some arrests have been made.  There is also extra attention being paid to Bateman and the area close to Sacramento and Berteau.
