I like the Government
There is a particular anger I feel when Im at my place of work and a customer tells me that Im not doing my job.  Call it pride if you feel like, but something seems to indicate to me that if I spend fourty hours a week for two years at a particular job location, that I might have a bit more inside knowledge as to what my job is.

This is about how I feel when some tells me that they don't like Bush. Just in general.  Like everything the government does it one man's fault.  I'm not saying critisism isnt healthy, it is.  You can turn on the news and see informed individuals speaking about a particular bill or propostion that they feel Bush should or should not favor.  That is critisim.  "Bush sucks", however, is not a critisism, it's stupid.

Something tells me that Bush, nay the goverment as a whole, probably has a pretty good grasp of what its supposed to be doing, what it can get away with, and what it can't, very much like myself.  They are the government.  They govern.

I'll be first first to admit, though, that I'm no more qualified than they next guy to tell the government what its doing or how its doing it.  Overall, however, I bet its doing ok - I seems to be enjoying the benefits of it's decision making very nicly.  Its decent economy, its fairly powerful international standing, these sorts of things.

Thats what I'd really like to see.  When those "Bush sucks" or "anarcy rulez!" people go to the ATM for a 20$, get a burger from McDonald's, or when they pay their taxes.  Protesters, anarchists, and all the like all have homes to go to and jobs to go to.  You never hear anyone protest that the economy is too good.  That the streets are clean or well kept.  That taxes are being used to fund humanitarian organizations.  All you hear is "Your fault, your fault, your fault"

In the end, my point is moot.  People will still use the terms "Republican" and "Democrat" like they are football teams. People will still blame the negitive on the government or its President.  And accept the positive in silence.

Good little tax payers.  *pat pat*
