eX-Driver

Wow, talk about a sleeper.  Hit Blockbuster the other day and found this little jewel neglected in the corner of the anime section.  Now let me point out that this is not the first time I have tried to rent eX-Driver, but was the first time I successfully found the right disc behind the case.  More than pleased to see if I was on to somethign great, I shelled out my 2.99 and popped in the DVD player. Lets hit the technical high points, crisp animation, and good still art bring this together.  The character designs are all top notch if not slightly cliche', and the car desgins are both familiar and fun. But there are one think you can't draw, and thats moxy. The story is really great and provides a variety of episodical and seried escapades that fits together like a good puzzle, but the character interactions are what bring it all together and make this a really really enjoyable anime experience.  This is the perfect anime to rent, the length and style are right for a good sit with friends and the elements of the story offer somethign to everyone. This gets a five of five on the unlimited meter and will soon be a part of my personal collection. Lemme break down a quick synopsis. Two young females drive gasoline cars in a world of AI cars.  Gas cars are specially used for hunting down rogue AI cars and safly stopping the car's systems through clever driving and disabling the rogue's sensors.  The story involves a young boy in a Super Seven, the wild girl Lisa in various cars, and the good girl Lorna in a Europe Lotus. But donkey! I don't like car driving shows!  Shaddup bitch and go rent it.
