| I've just spent minutes on the internet trying to figure out who directed the piece of crap only to come to the unlimied conclution that the guy had the good sense to wipe his name from the whole of exsistance shortly after it's release under Manga video. Of course, this should have been expected, Manga has produced nothing but crap since Ghost in the Shell. Kudos to Production I.G. for making another pretty anime though. The hazy pastelish kind of look really worked for the samurai/mystic era they were portraying. The action is also a saving point, quick samurai sword action is pretty sweet when they get around to it. But dont let me be coy. This anime sucks. Its painfully short, just about 40 minutes, and the plot sounds like it would be good if anyone would tell it to you. From the first few minutes until a few minutes later when this bastard was over, I had no clue what was happening. Anyone who has seen one of Manga's earlier realeases, "Blood:The Last Vampire", can sympathize. The only difference is Blood's plot was mildy in place, if not executed. Over all, Id say avoid it. If you just think you have to watch it or are a hardcore Manga Video fan, dont expect much. |
