GABRIELA RESULTS
The Manila Gabriela was held last March 17, where the new set of officers was elected. Outgoing Lady Chancellor Mary Grace Dalen Nuqui batch 2000-A gave way to Manila chapter's new LC, college scholar Sheila Anne Ducusin Leonor batch 2001-A.
Meanwhile, Gloria Theresa "Tere" Reyes Cutab of the Los Baņos chapter assumed the Lady Chancellor position in last week's LB Gab.

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES TRI-CHAPTER endeavour is a landmark project of the sorority. A project which started in cyberspace- the egroups & the chatroom- where sisters from the US, Manila & even Riyadh brainstormed on the possibility to deliver the expensive production to the UP community and benefit not only the sorority but a woman-oriented group as well.
It only took FOUR MONTHS for dedicated sisters to pool in effort, finances and support to make the VAGINA MONOLOGUES goal come true. The long list of sisters who unselfishly rendered their time, dollars and pesos and most of all prayers for the project's success can never be repaid by mere mention of their names in print or on stage. THE VISION OF OUR SISTERS WHO HAVE TURNED A SUGGESTION INTO A REALITY IS FOR ALL SISTERS TO KEEP THE FLAME OF OUR SORORITY BURNING! for the Greater Glory of SIGMA ALPHA NU! Be proud sisters!
Part of the proceeds was given to WOMEN'S CRISIS CENTER, a Quezon City based NGO which caters to victims of sexual abuse. ROYALTIES was also given to the Vagina Monologues Production and the the remainder of the sales will help initialize more projects for the three chapters of the Sorority.
