   About the Venue  


The heart of the buzzling place called Araneta Center, the "Big Dome" has been the home of the UAAP Opening Ceremonies (consequently, the opening games) since the 63rd season hosted by University of Santo Tomas. This is also the site of some games of Season 72.

   • via Katipunan Avenue: Take a UP-Katipunan jeepney on one of the loading points in the University. Alight at the terminal (near Mini-stop, under the bridge). Take either an FX or jeepney going to the Araneta Center (signboard should read: Cubao-Aurora), or the LRT Line 2. Either way, alight at the Araneta Center-Cubao Station of LRT-2. Go up and inside the station and follow the arrows that lead to the Coliseum. You can also walk straight either Gen. Araneta or Gen. Aguinaldo streets to enter the Coliseum.
   • via Kalayaan: Take a UP-Philcoa (can also be -Pantranco or -SM North) jeepney on one of the loading points in the University. Alight at the Petron gas station at Philcoa area. Take a Cubao-Kalayaan jeepney (signboard has Cubao-Ali Mall). Alight at the Ali Mall terminal (near/at the Cubao Bus Terminal). Turn right to Gen. McArthur street and then turn right to Gen. Aguinaldo street to enter the Coliseum.
