| There is a new venue in the region: the Renaissance Arts Council coffee house series. Tom Gruning, a singer-songwriter and Texan who has relocated to the area, led two other upstate musicians during the series debut. The performances were well recieved by a small, attentive audience of forty-two. The space itself, a loft above a shop called "The Conglomerate," is ideal, acoustically, and can accomodate 120. The series itself promises monthly performances. |
