This page is dedicated to expounding the depths of Holy Sacraments

The specific sacraments described here are:
Communion And Baptism

These two very important things in Christianity are found to be both relating to the natural material world, and the supernatural Spiritual world of God.
It is found of some doctrines, that some say that they only symbolize a spiritual reality, and of others that they authenticate the spiritual without reguard to the natural.
When we find our Lord Jesus making reference to a natural and a spiritual, we can be sure it means both. The difference being, we do not say or believe that communion or baptism is valid, unless the receiver or participant is of The Faith. It is similar to marriage between a man and woman; They join in Holy Matrimony because they are already agreed so to be in body, mind , and Spirit.

From the time that they made the solemn oath between each other, they were held accountable before God. Then they went forth and performed the ceremony, under both Spiritual and legal authority; Completing the Marriage.

A good example is, we are the bride of Christ way before the marriage in heaven we shall be called up yonder to. Even though the sacraments signify this also on earth.

More understanding of this is seen in the Authority we are given from Jesus; The Keys of the Kingdom: This authority means we bind and loose on earth, to authenticate it in heaven. Or I could put it this way; What we do in the material realm activates the spiritual realm. Because the Holy Spirit is our helper, empowerer, anointer; waiting on us to act to work with us in His will.

Now, because these sacraments are likened to an oath, they certainly should Never be taken lightly, but wholeheartedly.

If water baptism were not important, why then did Jesus obey it, saying "Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness." And it was not just an old covenant thing he was fulfilling, because he said after his resurrection "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: " We know that we can receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost before becoming baptized in water, The promise of the Father is the Holy Ghost.
If you got the Holy Spirit infilling before water baptism, you still should obey water baptism, even as it says in the book of Acts.
Acts10:47 "Can we forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?"

Concerning the Communion Cup
In the old covenant, they practiced this, as a shadow of the new. This is one of the most precious things we do in our relationship with God and with one another, while still waiting for the the return of our Lord.
This Cup of Blessing, the Table of our Lord, was told us by Jesus that it is the blood and body of Himself, and went into length telling it to the people, that they must eat his flesh and drink his blood. That was found to be very offensive by the non-believers, and confused the disciples.
What we are to understand , is, that there are teachings about communion, describing the terms of our covenant we have with God; These teachings are that we abide in his word, that we live by him, that we obey his commands in the new covenant, that we do the Fathers will. Even as Jesus taught the spiritual aspect of communion, saying in Jn 6:35 "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." Here we see Jesus likening the eating and drinking to, coming to him and believing on him; as also he said in Jn 3:34 "My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." These are things that show us the spiritual figurative meanings of communion
This is what we find in the terms of the covenant, that we do on earth, the practical lifestyle we follow.
But, We need to also rekon with Jesus words about taking communion, where it describes the cup and bread as his blood and body; So much, that he said "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." Jn 6:53
He did literly say, "Whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day" jn6:54
Even as Paul said in 1st Corinthians 10:16 "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" There are many other verses to share, to show that this communion is Both figurative, in presenting ourselves living for him, and in remembrance of him; But also, that when we partake, it is as serious, as though it were the actual real blood and body of Christ Jesus; Showing forth our complete seriousness in our relations with him in this covenant he cut, and made for us.
In catholic practice, they say only a catholic priest can give communion, because they believe that the priest turns the communion elements into Jesus blood and body, and that only the priest can do this. This is one way the catholic church tries to keep control over you. Jesus didnt say we needed a catholic priest. Jesus said do this as often as ye will, not, that you needed a catholic priest to do it. And besides, God has made each true believer a King and Priest unto God, as it says in Revelation 1:6, 5:10.

There is contraversy over if Jesus were speaking only figurativly or if literally about the cup and bread being his blood and body. I personally believe it means both, because he gave reference to both, but I dont see any reference to a priest doing some changing of the elements. Either believe it is both or believe it is figurative; But either way, do it with reverence as if it were, fearing, and wholehearted; Because Jesus said if you dont take of it you have no life in you John 6:53, as mentioned eariler.

Primarily, Taking communion is a covenant relationship between you and God; Saying from your heart to God, "I am in agreement with the covenant you set forth and cut with your body and blood".
You do not have to be knowledgable for sure in the teachings about communion, just be real from your heart, truely that you are submissive to His Lordship over you; And partake

The more I Love Jesus, The Father, and The Holy Spirit, the more I long to take communion. I feel it my responsibility to teach understanding having to do with communion, that it be done with reverence and not taken lightly; We agree to fellowship of His sufferings, and in the power of His resurrection ; But when I partake; That is a most precious intimate thing I love between the Lord and I.

There are two other items I believe to be sacraments: Marriage, and Foot Washing.
These two things also have their spiritual heavenly meaning and coincide with the earthly natural.

When reading this; Be sure of the mercy and forgivness of God for past sins. Read and learn from this, to live as holy as posible from here on out.
Now

Marriage: This is a most sacred thing, because the church is likened unto it as the bride of Christ; and the authority of the Father to the Son is likened between the Husband and a Wife; And the church to being the bride or wife of Christ. It is of significance to note; In Titus 1:15 "unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled." Now looking at Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled:" . So, taking in account of Titus 1:15, Hebrews 13:4 can not be referring to the Marriage of the unbelievers, but Only believers; Both verses refer to the topic of defilement. So, "In all" is not referring to all people, but to them that believe, and as Paul ministered, If one partner in a Marriage is a believer and the other an unbeliever, the unbeliever is clean as long as they are together, and then so are their children. But if both are unbelievers both are unclean or defiled.
So, the Sanctity of Marriage is only true with a believer of faith in Jesus Christ; And then Marriage is a Sacrament; A Sacrament when between a man and woman of whom at least one has faith in Christ. This is Not saying unbelievers are not married, but that their marriage is not a sacrament, and is not holy before God, though they are blessed as if holy, if they remain married and faithful; When at least one receives faith in Christ afterward, then it becomes sacred.

Here is the fear of the Lord :To divorce and to remarry while the other is still alive is Sacrilege; because marriage is likened unto the covenant with God for salvation; which covenant is broken from the hardness of heart to backslide, Turning back towards perdition. Marriage is a Sacrament, Do not enter it lightly or with reservations. If you did, and you believe, repent of your doublemindedness and live towards your mate as unto God, in holiness.
Adultry:This is rebellion against the body, which is two become one, now with schism likened unto idolatry, worship of other gods; This sin is as the sin of witchcraft, and opens the doors wide for a spirit of witchcraft to possess the offender; This spirit generally brings other very wicked unclean spirits more powerful then itself, with it. If guilty , please Repent in the fear of God, And get prayer.
Lusting: This is also Idoltry, it is coveting, the same as having other gods before Him. Nip it in the bud. Do not continue to meditate on lust; It will drag you down a path that demands fulfillment, and the end seperates you from Gods Communion; repent and walk closer with God.
Dating: If you are seeking a mate; Only date someone you find out is wholehearted towards God, loves the bible and holiness, and the Holy Spirit. Still; Pray very hard, that you do nothing that leads you into passions bondage; Admit you have passion, and lie not; face the truth, and plan to be holy until AFTER the marriage ! But Let God lead and select; even still, there will be trouble after marriage; But I will not burden you further on that.

Here is mercy: Divorce is not an unforgivable sin. If you went through a divorce, and it was not your choice, the one who insisted on breaking it broke covenant, and was practicing infidelity for it; You may have been free from err, but the other would not be faithful, leaving you to make it a divorce; Then you are free. If it were your choice, or both of you agreed to divorce; You both agreed to harden. If you now are convinced of this sin, you can ask and be forgiven, and live unto God(Dont plan on doing this to seek forgivness later, that's taking His grace for granted). If it was the others fault of unfaithfullness, you are free to remarry, but, if you do not reconcile and stay together, you force the one in sin to live in sin. If the other does not desire to stay with you, but wants to break covenant, and you did no wrong, they are as fornication, and you are free; this same would stand for any type of unrepented unfaithfullness, as in physical continual violence. Just to say we are called to peace, as a reason to break covenant, is not in reverance to the covenant, which is an oath unto God. Have your own conscious mind before God in all balance between fear of the Lord and of mercy. But look to the word and be led of the Spirit; The Spirit will not lead you contrary to God, his will and his word; only the Spirit can best define this for you.
If you KNOW God led you to marry this one, and this one sins, do not take you privelege to leave and be free for granted; You very well could be the Only one God chose to sanctify and complete the salvation of your mate. But! Never enter marriage "thinking" you will save that person because they love you; Only God knows that. This is serious business!

Now about Foot Washing!
The seriousness of foot washing is seen in John 13:8 "If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me." and so,is likened unto communion in seriousness; In John 6:53 "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." With the table of our Lord being so strongly spoken of by Jesus just as in washing feet, then both should be taken as Sacraments; And, then both must be practiced.

Now we know that just as communion had a spiritual significance to follow ,in life style, So also does Foot Washing have a spiritual significance to follow, in life style. In John 13:10 "He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean" There is a spiritual message here : We are clean, but there is attention drawn to the feet; Our feet being washed signify a fundamental walk in life; a principle to follow: John 13:14 through 17 "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one anothers feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done unto you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

"If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them."

"If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."Jesus words from Luke 9:23
