USA GOJU Federation  is a style of Karate developed by our Master Joseph Kelljchian.  The word karate is a combination of two words, "kara" which means empty and "te" which means hand.  Karate is an "empty hand" form of self-defense.  Goju is  a  combination of two words also.  "Go" which means hard and "Ju" which means soft.  We are like the meaning of the two words, a mixture of hard and soft.

Our Sensei's show us how  to harness these elements that are within each of us.  We are taught to be soft when softness is called for.  We are taught to be hard when hardness is required.  Most of all, we are taught discipline and respect.

Our classes are for all ages and abilities.  The classes incorporates exercise, stretching, self-defense, weapons, fighting skills, breathing techniques and much more.  Each session increases energy and builds self-confidence.  All of this plus a very high courtesy level makes for a great Karate class.

If you think you may be interested,  please stop by and try out a class.
All that is required, is the desire to learn.
