A: PBeM stands for Play by E-Mail. A PBeM is a game where everyone posts their character's actions to one newsgroup. That group then sends the e-mail to everyone else in the group.
Q: What if I've never roleplayed before, can I still join?
A: Sure you can! Bravo Fleet has an interactive academy to help newbies out. Even if you've roleplayed before you should read over the Cadet Initial Training. It will help you get the hang of posting. If you like to use your imagination or like to write you should find it a rewarding experince.
Q: Do you have to know all the insides and outs of the Star Trek Universe to play?
A: Not Necessarily. It does help at times, but there is a database a Bravo Fleet Headquarters they has alot of nice information to help you with the technical stuff. But I'm not looking for people that have first hand knowledge on how to build a warp core. I'm looking for players that want to have fun. We will help you with the tech stuff as needed.
Q: What time frame is this set in?
A: This game is set post-Voyager. So basically after anything in that series or the others.
Q: How often do I have to post?
A: You should post at least once a week. If you go longer then a couple of weeks without posting and you haven't asked the CO about a leave of absence you could loss you rank and position.
Q: This sounds great, but how much does it cost?
A: That's the best part! Its FREE!!
