The Prometheus-Class Heavy Cruiser is the testbed for the Multi-Vector Assault Mode (MVAM) function. In separated flight mode all 3 sections can fly independantly at cruise velocity (Warp 7.5). |
Total weapons availible while in Multi-Vector Assault Mode are 4 Type XII Phaser arrays, 8 Type X Phaser arrays, 6 Type XI Phaser arrays, and 5 Pulse-Fire Torpedo launchers. |

Interior Corridors: |
Corridors inside Prometheus Class starships look a bit different then those found on other Federation starships. They are dimly lit, but still follow the hexagonal shape found in most ships and stations. Between every other panel lies weapons lockers. This is to ensure that if the ship is boarded by enemy forces, the crew can effectively protect both themselves and their ship. |

Diagnostics: Level 1 * Level 1 diagnostics are performed with a crew of 5 to 6 men, and usually take several hours to complete successfully. System should be offline. Diagnostics: Level 2 * Level 2 diagnostics are very similar to Level 1 diagnostics. They also require a crew of men, usually 3 or 4, and typically take less then half the time to complete compared to the Level 1. |
Diagnostics: Level 3 Level 3 diagnostics should not take more than 2 officers and are intended to be completed in 10 minutes or less. Diagnostics: Level 4 Level 4 diagnostics are tests used to run the effeciency and effectiveness of each shipboard system. These diagnostics can usually be performed in less than a minute. Diagnostics: Level 5 Level 5 diagnostics are simple automated diagnostic procedures used to calculate system performance. These are carried out by one officer and usually take only 2 -3 seconds to successfully complete |
* Level 1 and 2 diagnostics require the complete shutdown of shipboard systems. |
