ATHENA ZODEN which is always spelled in uppercase to distinguish the character from main universe Athena Zoden. ATHENA comes from an alternate universe. Like Athena, she is identical to her in every way which includes the fact she can not turn off her mind reading abilities. But when the Romulans got a hold of her. Romulan scientists placed her on a machine that boosted her psyche abilities. She was now able to mind control people. Several times she would either seduce the person to knock down their self will or she would have some one else do it. Eventually she was able to overcome her captors and placed herself in control of the Romulan Empire.
When she was seventeen years old, she was raped by the Praetor Narviat. She was told by doctors her son was born stillborn. Narviat wanted her to think this way because he secretly had taken the baby to be raised by others. Eventually, she kills Narviat and becomes the Praetor herself after the Romulans looked at her as a savior. Eventually, she was declared Empress after conqueroring several Federation Planets. Under her reign, the Romulan Empire thrived.
One time she destroyed a group of Trills. There was a young girl who survived the attack. Her name was Annika. Annika was three fourths Trill and one fourth Caitian. ATHENA right away had a soft spot for the young girl. She adopted the girl as her own. Years later, she had Annika joined with a symbioant of a Trill ambassador.
In the year 2378, a portal to another universe was discovered. The same year, her adopted daughter Annika memory was wiped about her childhood during an experiment. It was replaced with other memories. During this, Annika escapes to the other universe.
ATHENA started plotting to take advantage of the other universe as well. When she finds out there was alternate version of herself there, she devised a plan to replace her. The double was the captain of the USS Crusador. At the time, two men were trying to woo this Athena. One was Captain Nick Knight and the other one was the Chief Medical Officer of the Crusader, Commander Mikkel Orion. Immediately, ATHENA wanted to have Mikkel for her own. She also finds out Annika had managed to gain the support of this Athena thus becoming a member of her crew. Eventually ATHENA was discovered but she managed to escape.
She escapes going back in time in her own universe where her universe version Nick Knight lived. Arriving in the twentieth century with a Bajoran orb of transference, she used the orb to transfer Nick?s vampire abilities to his girlfriend Natalie Lambert. Eventually this Nick Knight dies. Not soon after arriving, ATHENA finds out she is pregnant. She winds up having the child of Mikkel Orion which will be one half Betazoid and one half Trill. Passing off the spots on the child as a skin condition, the little girl grows up. ATHENA uses the last name of Denor which was using the last three letters of her last name and the first two letters of Mikkel Orion?s last name. The daughter she names Kelly.
Twenty five years later, Kelly and Athena manages to return back to the future. Trying to manipulate the crew of the Crusador again, she finds out she was no match to Athena Zoden luck and skill. Leaving Kelly behind, she takes off in a shuttle.
Eventually she crashes on a planet and dies. Fortunate for ATHENA, Klingons who had some how managed to get a hold of a Genesis bomb detonates it on this planet. Being reborn at first without her memory, she was given the name Luna. It was not until months later when her full memory was retuned.
Now being a woman who had no desire for conquest, she along with her daughters Kelly and Annika settles on the planet Talos IV. While there, the Talosians open up her. They taught her how to use her mind abilities even more. They discovered the Genesis effect that bought her back to life caused her mind ability to become just as great as theirs. They also had a so name Perseus. They realized Perseus would be probably be the greatest mind telepath the universe had ever known so they kept his birth a secret.
In 2382, ATHENA and her daughter Kelly are teleported by the USS Relativity to five hundred years into the future. Shortly after they had arrived, she met the elderly Nick Knight who by now has been a widower for more than a century. They connected in more ways than one.
After several officers had to be returned back to their own time, ATHENA finds out she is pregnant with Nick's child. They had a very beautiful daughter name Alexis. But they decided not to marry.
Years later, in the year 2903, Luna as she has insisted every one called her, the USS Relativity had to respond to a new anomaly. She had to go back in time to retrieve her son. With the help of Lady Erica Mara, she was able to stop the kidnappers. Upon returning back to the present 2903, she had bought back her son who was about one year old as well as Annika Devin, Kitty Tor, Kelly Denor and Dr. MyKull. |
