Star Trek: First Contact (1996)


The Borg Queen (Alice Krige).


Picard offers himself freely to the Borg in order to free Data. Borg Queen: "Data, you can go now...., as you see I've already found
an equal." Data: "He will make an excellent drone." Queen: "Data, stop the auto-destruct and give me computer control." Data complies.


Uh-oh.


Unaware of the situation aboard the Enterprise, the Phoenix continues its flight.


The Queen instructs Data to destroy the little ship while Picard helplessly watches.


The quantum torpedoes narrowly miss the Phoenix, a mistake impossible for an android to make. Data had been loyal to Picard all along.
