Summary

In the early 1970's, Gene Roddenberry, along with some actors, producers and friends from the original series, decided to resurrect Star Trek, but this time in the form of an animated Saturday morning cartoon. Based on the some of the adventures of the Enterprise crew in ST:TOS, it was successful for two seasons from 1973 to 1974.
