Battle of Deismaar (surface, Aebrynnis)
Over 2000 Diamond Knight Marines and 200 USS Knight crewpersons joined the Coucil of Mages of Aebrynnis in conducting the Battle of Deismaar near the great Landbridge. Actions included the use of several air raiding forces controlled by Knight Engineer Grant Lightoller and then-Tactical Officer Jack Lawson, as well as a joint effort with Ensign Koroth of the Knight and the Community of Dragons of Aebrynnis.
Several forces of Marines, Elves and local King's armies cleared civilians from the path of the various enemies forces marching toward the battle sites at the Great Mountains, and took commanding positions against eh dark forces, days before the battle began. The USS Knight also provided space-based intelligence and communication support to all allied forces. In the meantime the CO and SO of the Kngiht joined a group of mages to find the secrets of the Mountain of Deismaar.
The battle raged for days, and was concluded when the top of the Mountain of Deismaar blew up, and the leaders of the dark armies abandoned their forces in order to pursue Godhead. It took several days for the Knight forces to mop up. Afterwards. Captain Bridger handed over the administration of the new Planetary Order of the Atomic Knights to the new Liaison of the UFP, Cdr. Cynthia Stirling, his former XO, and urged the Aebrynnians to develop a true, shared and democratic planetary caretaker government.
The Vortex Masters Pirate Action (orbit, Moon of Aebrynnis)
In a very confused incident, the SS Lady Mischievous was abandoned by Naral Darven and Korani Korisse during their trip to the Aebrynnian Moon. It was taken by enemy forces and used to attack the newly developing convoy of ships that was to move through the Vortex, back toward the Terra and the home dimension of the Knight. Rapid actions by several commanders saved most of the refugee fleets, and the Mischievous herself was captured. The whereabouts of those who took control of her has never been determined.
