Molly was always a gentle soul, who preferred reading and spending time with her animals to playing with other children. She had twin brothers, six years older than her, and they teased her unmercifully while she was growing up. She was forced to defend herself on numerous occasions, and was often the victim of practical jokes played by her brothers and their friends.
Molly's father was a security guard aboard the USS Bradbury, and Molly and her mother and brothers lived on Earth. Molly adored her father, and was anxious to please him during his infrequent visits home. She was heartbroken when he was killed in the line of duty, when she was 15 years old.
Molly's brothers both followed their father into Starfleet, and of course became security guards. Terry was posted to the USS Sutherland, and Kerry to the USS Wellington. When Molly came of age, it seemed only natural for her to go into the family business. She had wanted to pursue nursing, or perhaps veterinary medicine, but her mother and brothers talked her into security instead. She is only a fair marksman, and lets her timid nature keep her from being more than an adequate guard.
Molly is rather shy and unassuming. She is respectful of her superiors, and is sincerely eager to please. She very much wants to be a good security guard, but she lacks the physical strength and force of will to be as good as she would like to be. She has few close friends, but is a good and faithful friend to those people.
