Beau was born on the USS Farragut, where his parents both served--his father as a security guard and his mother as a nurse. The child of loving, affectionate parents, Beau was always a bright, inquisitive child. He walked and talked early, and quickly became the pet of the medical department on the Farragut.
In 2371, when he was three, Beau's father was transferred to USS Cochrane, which had no facilities for families on board. Beau and his mother remained on board the Farragut, and were reunited with their father and husband only as often as their respective ships' movements permitted. Gradually, the strain on the marriage became too much, and Beau's parents divorced. In 2373, his father was transferred to the Knight, and when a position became available Beau and his mother joined him there. His parents are currently attempting a reconciliation.
Slightly above average height and weight for his age, short sandy brown hair and blue eyes, shows promise of being a handsome young man.
Beau is, in many ways, a typical 6-year-old boy. He likes to play rough, and participate in activities that require movement. He adores his father, and enjoys pretending he is a security guard. He can often be found, along with various friends, exploring the ship and generally getting into mischief. However, he is not a bad boy, but simply inquisitive.
Beau is a very affectionate child, although he is beginning to resist attempts by his mother to demonstrate that affection publicly. He tries to act very mature, and is already showing traits of a born leader. He is popular among his school-mates, both boys and girls, and is well-liked by his teacher. Beau is a good student, although often has trouble sitting still for long at a time. He loves animals of all kinds, especially those that are considered rather distasteful by his mother.
