Decon grew up in a small country town on Earth. His father, a Marine Sgt. Maj., prompted but did not force Decon into StarFleet. His Uncle Chief Petty Officer Daalf Bulldowski was the inspiration for Decon making this decision.
After his graduation from the Fleet Marine schooling that he chose, he was stationed on Cauldren Borne with the 14th Special Weapons and Tactics Battalion. There as a Shock Companies point man he earned the nick name "Bulldog" from his friends and senior NCO's, as the only man crazy enough to bull his way into a firefight and literaly, bulldog a heavy assault plasma cannon away from the operator, like a child having his lunch money taken.
Aboard the Achilles he was again the point man, and loved every minute of it. But his leadership abilities began to bloom and he was appointed the assistant squad leader. Which he didn't care for, despite excelling at it.
On Cardassia, Sgt. Bulldowski and his squad were put out on a pre-mission recon patrol that went sour fast. After being spotted, the Cardassians threw almost a company at Decon's 15 person squad, but could not roust them from the defensive position that Decon had chosen to hold. By this time the Cardassians started to fire anti-Starcraft guns at the USS Minx, the Marines mother ship and support craft. Decon hand picked 4 other squad members, destroyed the weapons as well as several hunred pounds of support equipment and supplies. These actions winning him and his squad mates bronze stars, and the deceased the silver stars.
As a platoon Sgt., Decon was not liked very much by young fresh officers. He went through four 1st Lieutenants before recieving Lieutenant Badders. Badders and Bulldowski saw eye to eye on almost every aspect that delt with the platoon with Badders relieing on Decon's experience and knowledge to keep him and the platoon alive, both in training, conflict and in seeing to individual Marine's personal needs.
On Lunar Colony, Gunnery Sergeant Bulldowski was know as one of the toughest and meanest Marines to ever put on the uniform. As the Marksmanship and weapons handling Instructor he was relentless is his persute of perfection from NCO's and Officers alike. Sometimes more so to officers instilling a pride and trust of Senior Grade NCO's in the would be platoon, Company, Battalion, and Brigade officers.
Decon's duties on LP 47 are classified as Omega 6. However his duties can be contrived as the Bull Screw of CellBlock 13/ Restrictive Houseing. His passionet hatred for the Cardassian Soldiers whom exterminated whole planets of Bajorans is a widely know fact but his trust was all that was needed from Major Henderson to perform his duties without total agression.
His duty station as a personel Sgt. was not his most favorite job, but he performed it without hinderance or mistake.
Master Sergeant Bulldowski stepped onto the Knight and came together with a crew of good Naval and Marine Personel. With the Striker Company short on officers he undertook the duties of Platoon Leader as well as the Company Sergeant. Major Athos and he know what the company needs and gives them what is necessary to perform their jobs without hinderance. However on this deployment he was been wounded during a boarding attempt but has recovered to active duty and is now biding his time for some pay back.
Personality: Decon is an easy going NCO whom on duty has only one thing in mind. Getting the job done, no matter what that job may be. From his junior NCO's and enlisted men he prefers to be called 'Sarge' or 'Top'. From the officers it doesn't matter, "They are going to call me what they want anyway." On his personal time he is laid back and easy going. A personality trait that he picked up was tattoos. When his shirt is off they can be seen stopping just above a t-shirt sleeve line. This NCO is ruff and tuff, bad mouthed, bad tempered and will speak his mind if he thinks you are wrong.
Has a 1911A1 service .45 that he keeps in working order and fires every chance he gets. Although he will not carry it during training or parade, he has been known to carry it into battle and use it if needs be
