Captain Bridger has a number of friends and allies who appear in logs or in person. John Chen Liu, wealthy businessman and top Federation lawyer, is a patron to Bridger and co-owns the SS Lady Mischievous with him. Nyssa Jorges, talented investigator and Cassie Arriens, talented litigator, both of JAG, are allies and friends to Bridger. Will Heinrich, often called The Kid, is a mercenary leader and strategist with a long and checkered career who was "raised" by Bridger. M'Benga, Liu, Heinrich and some relatives of others aboard the Knight, worked with Bridger 35 years ago, on the famous Operation: Crow.
A number of others have families and friends that we see on occasion. Some alumni of the Knight pop up in logs on occasion: Captain Monica Bishop, LCmdr. Rhejah Bherran (on Vulcan, science officer), Chris Taylor (former Tac officer and retired), Admiral Guise, Captain Sonali Bendre, Lt. Lyris Sol, LCmdr. Darven Naral, etc.
